Save Dyson DC25 Ball All-Floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I replaced a Hoover Wind Tunnel with the Dyson Ball over 2 months ago. I thought I liked the Hoover, it had plenty of power and was doing a good job. After 5 years the clutch on the power glide went out which made tugging that big thing around the house a real chore. I also own a Orek for a beach house and it works good so I almost bought another Orek to replace Hoover. I am sure glad that I decided to purchase the Dyson.

The new ball technology is really nifty and makes vacuuming a breeze in half the time and effort. Besides the ball tech, I particuarly like the low profile that easily gets under platform beds, coffee tables, and lower kitchen counters. It is also light and does not have a hugh footprint that takes up the whole cleaning closet. It goes without saying that it is powerful and sucks up all manner of stuff on the carpets and hardwood floors. I especially like the hardwood floor action as it does not scatter the dirt or dust...it acutally picks it up on the first pass.

As I said, nothing is perfect. There are a few things that I found odd. For example the wand is a little too rigid and as always the power cord seems to be everywhere except behind you when you are moving about. The bagless thing is good/great but you do have to empty the thing outside or into a plastic bag otherwise all the stuff/dust/dirt in cannister will puff right back into the room.

Don't let the price scare you off. It is price right and competitive with other vacuums in in't class. I recommend it and would buy another one when good 'ol Orek craps out.Get more detail about Dyson DC25 Ball All-Floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner.
