I just trashed my Eureka Boss smart Vac for this machine, and I couldn't be more happy! This instrument is light weight, agile, easy to lift/push, and incredibly good at its job (everything the Eureka, a Consumer Reports "Best Buy", wasn't). I didn't even have to take it apart or add a tool to vac the stairs. I just lifted it up and did the stairs that way. I can't believe how much easier it is to handle than my old machine.
